I make the best sweet tea ever! It works best in the summer when you can let the tea brew outside in the hot sun. Sounds crazy but it's true. Used to make it in the country when I was little. It's just called "Sun tea." (Makes sense right!)

Anyways--delicious sweet tea always includes a lot of sugar. BUT--put some honey in there too.
And... this is going to sound weird, but it works. There are those Del Monte peaches you can buy in the jar. Put some of those peace slices in the tea & pour just a little (a few tablespoon fulls) of the juice /syrup the peaches were in into your sweet tea.

Also, make sure you're using a good quality tea to start with. Green tea works well. White tea works even better. Chamomile works well, but will make you very relaxed/calm.
Basically get some decent tea. Tazo is a well known brand that does a pretty good job. Anything from Fruitful Yield, Trader Joe's, or Whole Food's is going to be good. Then, get a bunch of hot water and put a bunch of tea bags in it. Let it steep and while it's still warm add the sugar and honey.
Then...when it cools down add the peaches and a bit of peach syrup. Let it get super cold and enjoy!

Yum, yum, yum.

If you want to save yourself the trouble, you can buy this too. This company called Ito En makes "Tea Peace" which is insanely good.
Here's a link to it: http://www.amazon.com/Ito-En-Peach-16-9-Ounce-Bottles/dp/B0017T1LI8

They sell it here at Fruitful Yield and Whole Foods. Health food stores generally have it or you can order it online.

I'm from Texas...this is how I have always made it...

The Best Southern Style Sweet Tea

What you will need.

• 1 gallon container

• 3 family style tea bags

• pinch of Baking Soda

• 1 1/2 to 2 cups Sugar (I know that’s a lot but it’s so good. You can use less if you like)

Put about 4 – 5 cups of water in a pot and throw in just a pinch of baking soda. This takes away the bitterness of the tea and helps to darken it. Just throw in a little pinch it will not change the taste.

Bring the water to a boil and when you got a nice boil going take it off the heat and put in your tea bags and cover with a lid. Let the tea bags steep in the water for 10 – 15 minutes. I like to stir the water a little bit to help the steeping process.

After 10 – 15 minutes remove the tea bags and add your sugar. Mix the sugar with the tea and make sure it has dissolved completely. Once the sugar is dissolved pour the tea into your container. If any sugar is left in the pot just add some water and swirl it around and pour it in. Now and add cold water to the one gallon mark and stir it up.
