Want to make dinner for my boyfriend.. He's a big meat eater, meat 'n potatoes kinda guy?
He likes everything from chicken to steak to pork-chops to.. anything meat lol. His taste buds are very simple.. He doesn’t like anything too extravagant. What’s a delicious (yet simple) dinner recipe I can make for him?

With sharp knife, trim and discard excess fat from edges of pork chops. In pie plate, beat egg, milk and salt; place crumbs on waxed paper. Coat chops with egg mixture, then with crumbs.
In same skillet, in remaining 2 tablespoons hot oil, cook chops, 3 at a time, until well-browned on both sides. Pour off fat. Return all chops to skillet; top with reserved onions. Add water; cover.

Steak with simple seasonings, pasta with vegetables and biscuits.
I am sure He would prefer a steak. Make a 1 to 1-1/2 pound beef porterhouse or rib eye steak with double baked potatoes. If You do not have time to make them, You can buy some very good prepared frozen double baked potatoes at the store, and throw them in the oven. If A vegetable can be worked in somehow, Make corn on the cob and have some butter ready.
Marinade a steak (New York Strip, or Ribeye…preferrably Ribeye) in some lemon juice or wine or apple cider vinegar. Let that sit overnight. Sear on a pan, or grill to his liking. Most important: salt and pepper before cooking. Heat releases spices, and the salt helps draw in flavor. Just need a pinch of both on each side. For his potatoes: Garlic mashed. I prefer reds, slice them thinly, and boil the hell out of them. At the same time, take some olive oil (!/4 cup) in a pot and roast a few crushed cloves of garlic in it. While the potatoes are still hot, add salt and pepper, mash…add a little butter and heavy cream, and mix well. You can add some thyme to the potatoes…adds a little depth to them. If you want a veggie, steam some broccoli.
For a different way to set up your plate….Pile a big scoop of the spuds in the center of the plate, and lean the steak against it. If he wants the veggies, put them on the sides.
His favorite beer (any) will go well with this…Make sure it’s ice cold….in fact, pour it for him right after he sits down to eat.
Hope that helps…
