Slow cooking?

I slow cooked steak once and it was juicy and delicious. I would like to slow cook two chicked breasts tonight. If I cook them at 150 degrees, about how long would it take them to cook?

You can’t cook at 150 degrees. It isn’t hot enough. A crock pot is the best way to cook meat and have it come out tender. It slow cooks it all day. But if you do use a oven slow cooking all day is great too. You will find that all your roasts, spaghitti sauces, BBq ribs ect, ect, taste better when you took all day to bake them. Good Luck and have fun!!

At least several hours but when they begin fall away from the bones that is a pretty good indication that they are cooked. 150 degrees huh, you can set the temp on you slow cooker? Mine must be way old..

I would think about 2 1/2 hours. I cook chicken at 375 for 1 hour. and sometimes longer depending on the thickness of the chicken.

150 degrees is a temp to dehidrate at .more importantly to kill bacteria the meat has to reach 170 degrees wich cant be reached when cooked at 150

Most recipes for slowcooker chicken calls for about 5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low, covered in some type of sauce or marinade.
