This looks so good!
you should always heat your pan first then add your olive oil. never put oil in a cold skillet and let it heat up like that.
your method isnt a secret way to check if soemthing is cooked all the way its just standard procedure pick big piece open and see
I will be doing this tonight
@CrocsRuleXD Yeah… there is a little too much oil. lol
that is the most delicious looking salmon I’ve seen in my life
Salmon is the best fish to eat and it has natural oil which is good for the heart
i also think theres too much oil…u kinda boiled the skin…which makes it disgusting…if ur gonna cook in oven..u might as well get rid of the skin…or else sauteed salmon should give it a crispy skin with less oil…just my opinion tho…
SALMON ALL THE WAYY ~~~~~
Looks yummy and healthy!
my terrible oven doesnt go that high :c
Lovely Lady
@SOJ721
Lady it’s just fish…
Salmon is best to eat medium-rare (hope that term apply to fish), or just to eat it raw (yes, i am a savage)
and for the skin, many Asian cuisine season and cover the skin with flour, and than deep fried it.
For the head, it can be made into soup
That’s the best way to utliize every part of the fish.
@RecipeCook Just want to make sure . is it 7minutes each side? with 6 minutes in the oven?
fanastastic looks good.
Let me clarify – it depends on the thickness, how many pieces, if I want to brown it off first and finish in the oven either right away or later. In other words, you can cook it through in the skillet or do like i learned in a restaurant: get a nice golden skin and finish in a hot oven. And you can always use less oil if you want.
Thanks alot for sharing this, i’m going to try it out myself. Going to test out some different spices, aswell as some orange slices in there.

i love a nice piece of salmon. the first thing i do when i get some fresh salmon in front of me is put my fingers in it and then smell them to see if its fresh. then if it smells good i cook it up and go to town.
fish spatula, not tongs
