If they are faded and turning yellow, there are headlight polishing kits on the market you can use to restore them. You can find them at most auto parts stores. Meguiars, 3M, and others make them. Search teh web for them, as well. Cost is around $20 for the kit and you will need a cordless drill to do the work.

ONE:
 1. Recognize that the problem is caused because the outside cover is oxidized and needs the outside surface polished to be clear again.
 2. Wash the outside of the lights with soap and water as you would when washing the rest of your car. Dry. This step will remove the grime and dirt before you start polishing.
 3. Apply an aluminum polishing compound with a dry soft cloth. Put a little compound on it and work it on in small circular motions. Let it dry to a haze. Now, buff the haze off by wiping with a clean towel or cloth.
 4. Repeat the polish and buff steps until clear again. It may need 3 coats or more.

TWO:
1.Recognize that the problem is caused because the outside cover is oxidized.
2.Go Buy "Scratch Doctor" made by Nu Finish (costs about $10) from your local auto store.
3.Follow directions on bottle
4.Enjoy your crystal clear headlights

These are two different ways

Just make sure you have enough headlight fluid and you'll be fine.
