PREHEAT OVEN TO 385 degrees __________________________________________ The Bake your Graphics card method REALLY WORKS! Next time i will make sure i register my Graphics card & not wait 4 months until i finally got all my other parts to test it. Lesson learn. & i didnt have to pay for REMEMBER:

    @timboak WORKED FOR MY NVIDIA 8800GTS 640MB.I ACCIDENTALLY APPLY A PRESSURE ON RAM CHIP WHEN CLEANING MY GPU.I BAKED IT AND ALIVE AGAIN.

    Hi :) An 6600GT was given to me.. it’s artfacting a lot… I might try this but my oven works with Gas… do this works with all kind of oven’s?

    dont matter what oven. Just make sure it can reach the correct temps to actually bake it.

    We actualy do this at the repair shop i work at for mainly HP DV9000 motherboards with graphics faults (a common problem with these systems) – place it in the oven for 7 minutes to reflow the solder, and yes – in 7/10 cases this does work.

    I have one question my cuzzin gave me a evga 9400gt as a gift but it was dead when i put it in my pc i seen alot of videos of the oven trick and it looks like it works so ill give it a shot. so the question is will this do any damage on my motherboard?

    It sin´t that good to do it on the Alu as it could shortcut your card if you have bad luck.
