that looks really nice, but i think you should have explained it a bit more, like “Use a strawberry that’s a good size”.. what is a good size for fanning strawberries?
i need this for my catering practical exam, im making a strawberry cheescake and im going to have strawberries on the side of the plate :D thanks for this
Who taught this stupid woman how to use a knife? Even on the tiniest objects she uses a stupid sawing motion with it. EARTH TO RETARDED WOMAN TEACHING PEOPLE HOW TO INCORRECTLY PASS A SHARPENED PIECE OF STEEL THROUGH SOFT UNRESISTANT FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: If you have to SAW with your knife, SHARPEN IT! You should be able to cut through a strawberry with a clean downward pass, you moron! And a pineapple, and a watermelon, and a cucumber!
God these videos annoy me, but I cant stop watching!
Today on Cooking for Idiots, I’d like to show you how to pass a sharpened steel blade through a fleshy fruit with no pits, seeds, or particularly difficult-to-cut details of any kind. Remember, idiots, the sharp side of the blade should point toward the food, and the tip of the blade should point away from your hand. If you cut yourself, turn the blade around and try holding the other end. If you cut yourself again, try turning the blade over and cutting with the other side.
Now look over in the related videos section, and you’ll see some ACTUAL cooking guide videos. Strawberry rose, stuffed strawberries, things that are EVEN SLIGHTLY COMPLICATED. But this tripe? This is cutting a small fleshy pitless fruit into vertical sections joined at the top. THE SENTENCE I JUST TYPED DESCRIBING THE ACTIVITY IS ALL THE INSTRUCTION YOU SHOULD NEED FOR THIS! If after reading that sentence you STILL cant figure out how to do it without this woman showing you, PUT THE KNIFE DOWN!
Cool…
